Selling or Buying a 1967 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2?

1967 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2The 1967 model-year was the last year of production for the Ferrari 330 GT 2+2, soon replaced by the 365 GT 2+2. First launched in 1964, the model was intended to be a comfortable Grand Tourer, easier to drive than the concurrently produced sporty Ferrari 275. The new car was quieter, more accessible and more comfortable, while still powered by the efficient 4-Liter Colombo V12. The additional 2 inches on the revised Ferrari 250 chassis improved the inside room significantly for the back passengers. Designed by Pininfarina, the body of the Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 is characterized by canted twin headlights, which gave the car a very modern look that was popular on the American market at the time. The general shapes were smoother and rounded aside from the angular headlights, making for a more elegant and less aggressive vehicle. The round tail gave additional room in the boot, which was fitted with a rectangular one-piece light, beautifully curving around the edges of the wings. These are just a few of the characteristics that can help you distinguish a 1967 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 from other classic Ferrari models.

1967 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Buyers Guide

The 1967 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 was a very advanced and luxurious vehicle for its era; featuring options such as power steering and air conditioning. Following the trend of the American market at the time, alloy wheels that were also fitted with Pirelli tires replaced wire wheels. Only 455 examples of the Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 Series II were made before the 365 GT 2+2 took over in 1967. Ferrari classics of the 1960s are highly desirable models and often set records during auctions. The value of such cars is influenced by the history of the model and previous owners, as well as by the overall condition and authenticity of the classic. Models that have been comprehensively restored and have all the original documents in addition to the Ferrari Certification are often deemed the most valuable in the eyes of collectors and enthusiasts.
