Selling or Buying a 1971 Lamborghini Espada?

The Lamborghini Espada came out in 1968 and stayed in production for a whole decade. A total of 1217 units were made and the 4 seater GT was Lamborghini’s most popular model to date. Designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, the Espada had a distinctive long and low profile and featured straight and sharp lines. Inside, the honeycomb dash was decorated with multiple octagonal gauges and the series II modelsoffered from 1970 to 1972were redesigned with a more modern center console and steering wheel. Outside, the only upgrade was the deletion of the grille covering the vertical glass tail panel. Fitted with Lamborghini’s 4-liter V12, the power output was boosted up to 345 hp on the series II model. Other upgrades included the addition of optional power steering and new vented Girling discs brakes.
