Selling or Buying a 1972 Maserati Mexico?

1972 Maserati Mexico1972 was the last year of production for the Maserati Mexico, which was a 2+2 luxurious GT, based on the chassis of the Quattroporte but using a shorter wheelbase. The model was introduced in 1966 and production started in 1967. Most of the cars were built during the early years as the four-seater Maserati Indy offered a more popular alternative from 1968. When introduced, the Maserati Mexico boasted a 4.7-liter V8, and the manufacturer came out with a 4.2-liter version soon after. The smaller engine made the car more accessible and was in tune with customer needs. The first Mexico models featured Borrani wire wheels, while later models boasting the smaller engine unit featured steel disc wheels. Luxurious options could be ordered such as an automatic transmission or power steering, while electric windows, air-conditioning, and an elegant wooden dashboard came standard.
