The Lamborghini Espada Series II was the second generation of Espada made by Lamborghini, and was in production from December 1969 to November 1972, before the series III took over. The Espada was a four-seater GT with a powerful engine and staggeringly gorgeous bodywork. Designed by Marcello Gandini, the silhouette of the car was low, long and combines straight lines with subtle curves. In 1970, the black protection grille previously fitted above the lights was removed and the dashboard was revised to offer easier access to commands for the driver. New wheels were also introduced using lighter alloy and the car gained 25 hp over the first model. 575 units of the Lamborghini Espada Series II were made, making it the most produced variant.
