Selling or Buying a Maserati Ghibli I?

Maserati Ghibli I Three generations of Maserati Ghibli were produced, the first one being the V8-engined GT from 1966 to 1973. Just like the Mistral model, the Ghibli was named after a wind. Ghibli is the Libyan name for the southwestern hot and dry wind blowing from the desert of Sirocco. The Maserati Ghibli I is a two-door 2+2 GT that was available in a coupe and in a convertible trim. Giorgetto Giugiaro at Ghia designed the body, which is characterized by its pop-up headlamps and its low, sharp, and aggressive nose, which inspired future models. The 4.7-liter V8 in the front was bolted to a five-speed manual transmission or a three-speed automatic on request. 0 to 60 mph was reached in 6.8 seconds and the Maserati Ghibli I could reach a top speed of 155 mph. Among the 125 Spyder models made, 25 units were special 4.9-liter Ghibli SS models, which were the fastest Maserati road cars produced at the time.

Maserati Ghibli I Buyer’s Guide

Whether you are looking for a coupe of a convertible Maserati Ghibli I, The Beverly Hills Car Club would be delighted to help you. The coupe’s production started in 1966 and the Spyder followed in 1969. The convertible top on the Spyder folds behind the front seats, under a tonneau cover, which makes the convertible a strict two-seater. You might also be aware that a hardtop was available on option so be sure you request all the tools and paperwork that come with the vehicle. It is always best to purchase the automobile in the best condition within your budget, as this can avoid spending thousands in repairs to be able to drive your classic. Feel free to call The Beverly Hills Car Club team anytime to speak with a classic Maserati expert and get more tips on how to make a smart purchase.
