1962 Jaguar XKE E-type Fixed Head Coupe –Old English White  with Red Connelly leather interior – 4 Speed – Wire Wheels – Matching Numbers!! Fully restored from the ground up!!
Fully Restored with Receipts Totaling over $154,000 
    Here is a Gorgeous, 1962 Jaguar XKE E-type Fixed Head Coupe with Matching Numbers; this is very rare and collectable. Produced in February of 1962, this cream colored beauty is the 558th left hand drive coupe produced. The car has had been with the same owner since 1978 and was completely disassembled and professionally restored by Best of Britain from September 2006 to June 2008. This “no expense spared, nut and bolt” restoration is documented with over 200 photos and receipts totaling more than $154,000. This matching numbers car performs as new and has an amazing appearance, simply stunning. The car has been garaged in a climate controlled space since returning home from the extensive restoration over two years ago and has been driven sparingly since. This is a very early production car but does not have a flat floor nor welded bonnet louvers or exterior bonnet locks.

It is smooth running and also has new, shocks, new suspension, new bushings, new down pipes, new rear end, new brake rotors, new brakes, 4 new tires, all 3 carburetors have been rebuilt and complete new fuel lines. This jag has had the transmission serviced, differential serviced and a recent oil change. As my pictures show under the hood of this car looks great. It features a fully detailed motor compartment and looks completely factory original. The manual transmission shifts nice and smooth. The car drives straight, it feels tight going down the road and if you give it some gas it really takes off.
    This '62 Fixed Head Coupe is a very rare find! Especially, being in such beautiful condition and an amazing color combination. This car has the best of everything and is ready to drive or show and enjoy right now.
