Selling or Buying a 1966 Maserati Quattroporte I?

The first Maserati Quattroporte was launched in 1963 and featured a 4.1-liter V8 engine, capable of producing up to 260 hp, for a top speed of 130 mph. Available with a three-speed automatic or a five-speed manual gearbox, the Quattroporte was a very luxurious and comfortable, yet excitingly fast four-door sedan. In 1966, twin headlights were installed and the engine was upgraded to a capacity of 4.7 liters, with a factory-claimed top speed of 140 mph. Featuring a luxurious interior with options such as air conditioning and a redesigned rear suspension, the 1966 Maserati Quattroporte was the latest version of the model and was perfected by the engineers. Unfortunately, Maserati discontinued the model in 1969 due to financial troubles, but the brand would still be the reference in terms of performance premium GT sedans and soon release a new model.
