Produced from 1964 to 1967, the Sunbeam Tiger is a British sports car part of the Britain’s Rootes Group. This two-seater was partly designed by Carroll Shelby and somewhat resembles the AC Cobra. In addition to a similarity in the design, the Sunbeam Tiger was fitted with the same engine as the Cobra: a four-cylinder V8. The unit had a capacity of 4.3 liters and a power output of 164 hp, enabling the car to reach 60 mph from still in 5.9 seconds. The 1966 Sunbeam Tiger was also well designed, offering great comfort and handling thanks to an elaborate suspension system. Disc brakes were fitted in the front and drums in the back and the car featured an enjoyable rack and pinion steering.
