From 1966 to 1968, the first generation of Miura was offered, known as the P400for posteriore 4 litri, in reference to the rear-mounted, 4-liter engine. The Lamborghini Miura P400 Sor Miura Swas introduced at the Turin Motor Show in November 1968, featuring 20 additional horsepower, powered windows, new overhead inline console, different camshaft profile and increased luggage space.
