Selling or Buying a 1969 Maserati Mistral Spyder?

1969 Maserati Mistral Spyder The Mistral was Maserati’s replacement for the popular 3500, and owes its name to the cold northerly wind typical of southern France. 1969 models were the latest versions of the Mistral and benefitted from improved body style and a more potent 4-liter engine compared to the 3.5-liter and 3.7-liter units of the first generations. The 1969 Maserati Mistral Spyder was well equipped with an independent front suspension, a Salisbury rear axle, and four-wheel disk brakes. The car was well balanced thanks to its short wheelbase and aerodynamic shaping. Maggiora of Turin provided the bodies of coupe and convertible models, using steel for the shell and aluminum for the doors, hood and trunk lid of the Spyder.

1969 Maserati Mistral Spyder Buyer’s Guide

If you are considering purchasing a 1969 Maserati Mistral Spyder, there are a few single tips that you might find useful. You most likely already know a lot about the model, but The Beverly Hills Car Club would like to remind you to check for the originality of the car when you find a model you like. Later models featured alloy wheels instead of the traditional Borrani, and some owners decided to go back to wire wheels for styling purposes.
