The Lamborghini Jarama was produced from 1970 to 1976 and replaced the Islero model that was getting old. Bertone was hired for design and Marcello Gandini penned the body using sharp angles. At the time, the model wasn’t well received by all, but grew to become a very special classic. Inside, the cabin offers two small rear seats but the model was more affordable than the contemporary full four-seater Espada. Lamborghini’s 4-liter V12 engine was fitted on the 1970 Lamborghini Jarama and provided an output of 350 hp for a top speed of over 150 mph. Three series of Jamara were made throughout the production run: the first model was referred to as the Lamborghini Jarama 400 GT and was made in 177 units from 1970 to 1973. The next variants were the Jarama 400 GTS and the Jarama Rally S.
