The Silhouette was inspired by the Urraco model, its predecessor, and restyled by Bertone with a squared-off nose, flattop wheel arches, and a deeper front spoiler. The car was powered by a 3-liter V8 producing up to 265 hp. Top speed was recorded at 162 mph and 0 to 60 mph were reached in less than 6.5 seconds. Thanks to a well-designed bodywork and elaborate suspension system, the 1977 Lamborghini Silhouette had great handling and offered a very enjoyable driving experience. The model was replaced by the Lamborghini Jalpa, which used a lot of the parts and engineering put into the Silhouette.
