In 1986, Aston Martin partnered with the Italian coachbuilder Zagato to create an exotic body style to fit to a lighter and shorter chassis. With only 52 examples of the Coupe and 37 of the Volante (Convertible), the Aston Martin V8 Zagato is a valuable classic nowadays. Boasting a limited-slip differential, electric window lifts and heater rear window, the 1986 Aston Martin V8 was a luxurious and comfortable vehicle, even by today’s standards. Burr walnut trim was being fitted for the first time since the 1950’s (with the DB2 and DB4 cars) and the design of the Aston Martin V8 body was very appealing, making it a very refined and desirable classic Aston Martin among collectors and enthusiasts today.
