Selling or Buying a Bentley S1 Continental?

Bentley S1 ContinentalProduction of the Bentley S1 Continental started shortly after the R-type Continentals ceased being made by the Bentley Motors Limited, better known as Rolls Royce. The S Continentals were the high-performance vehicle of the S1 model and were released six months later than the standard Bentley S1. The Bentley S1 Continental was released in 1955 and was manufactured until 1959. 431 of these full-size luxury automobiles were made. The S1 Continentals have a lighter-weight fixed head coupe body style and seat up to four people. In addition, these Bentley S1 Continentals had a 4.9-liter unit straight six-cylinder engine to take your cruising to a new level.

This S1 Continental model also had a more refined suspension system for a smoother ride. One man described the S1 Continental as a comfortable large saloon with a decent turn of speed. The only criticism this vehicle had was its lack of sufficient legroom, however this was fixed in later models. When purchasing the Bentley S1 Continental, be aware that this vehicle can have either a fixed head coupe body style or a drophead coupe body style. These S1 Continentals are also distinguished due to giants like Park Ward and H.J. Mulliner being coachbuilders for these models. Each one made by a specific coachmaker has its own character as well as price tag, dependent on coachmaker.
