Pirelli P7 tires were featured on the new model for better grip and the wheels rims were sleeker. A V-shaped wing was available as an option, which increased high-speed stability although the top speed was slightly reduced. The 4-liter V12 was longitudinally mounted at the rear of the vehicle and linked to a five-speed gearbox. The Lamborghini Countach LP 400S was a powerful and well made 2-door coupe and one of the major actor on the sports cars scene in the 1970s and 1980s.
