1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL 4-Speed With 2 Tops

Introducing this 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL 4-Speed with 2 tops, a timeless roadster that blends elegant design with classic German engineering. Finished in medium blue and complemented by a two-tone blue interior, this example offers a bold yet sophisticated presence. Equipped with both a body-color removable hardtop and a convertible soft top. This example comes out of long-term California ownership and retains a blue license plate. Also accompanied by a small California pink slip dating back to 1987, adding a bit of early documentation to its history.

Highlights:
- Bosch Mechanical Fuel Injection
- Power-Assisted Four-Wheel Discs
- Body-Color Removable Hardtop
- Convertible Soft Top
- Chrome Accents
- Classic VDO Instrumentation
- 14-Inch Ronal "Bundt" Style Alloy Wheels
- Jack and Spare Tire Included

- California Car (Blue License Plate)
- Long-Term Ownership Since 1987
- Upgraded 2.8-Liter M130 Inline-Six Engine
- 4-Speed Manual Transmission

Equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission and the later 2.8-liter M130 inline-six engine. Additional features include power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, twin exhaust finishers, and Bosch mechanical fuel injection. The exterior is accented by signature chrome trim, Bosch headlamps, 14-inch Ronal "Bundt" style alloy wheels, and Mercedes-Benz center caps wrapped in Advanta tires, completing the iconic look. This example includes a jack and a full-size spare tire stored in the trunk.

Inside, the cabin offers a clean and functional layout with low-back bucket seats, VDO instrumentation, a two-spoke steering wheel with horn ring, wood trim, map pockets, manual crank windows, an analog clock, an AM/FM radio, and a fender-mounted antenna.

Produced for a short period between late 1966 and early 1968, the 250SL is one of the rarer variants of the W113 series, making it especially desirable among collectors. While this particular W113 is a non-running project, it presents a fantastic opportunity to restore a piece of automotive history to its former glory. Priced accordingly, this classic vehicle provides a chance to own a piece of German automotive history. For $34,750
