1929 Ford Model A Phaeton

Offered here is a 1929 Ford Model A Phaeton that has just come out of the dry climate of Arizona. Finished in a two-tone Burgundy/Red exterior with deep black fenders and running boards, it is accented by subtle light-colored pinstriping along the beltline and body contours and complemented by a red interior. The open Phaeton body style gives this Model A the unmistakable character of a late-1920s Ford.

Highlights:
- Exterior Color: Two-tone Burgundy/Red
- Interior Color: Red
- 3-Speed Manual Transmission
- 201 cu in (3.3L) Inline 4-Cylinder
- Drum Brakes
- "Double-Bar" Style Bumpers
- Chrome Accents
- Wind Wings
- 21-Inch Red-Finished Wire Wheels

This Model A is equipped with a floor-shifted 3-speed manual transmission paired with a 201-cubic-inch (3.3-liter) inline-four engine and drum brakes. Exterior details include hood louvers, wind wings, side steps, a single exhaust outlet, and period-style "Double-Bar" bumpers. It rides on 21-inch red-finished wire wheels wrapped in Lucas tires and features a rear-mounted full-size spare with a cover.

Inside, the cabin features bench seating, a 4-spoke steering wheel, and a straightforward layout characteristic of automobiles from the late 1920s. The simple controls and functional design reflect Ford's focus on making the Model A practical and approachable for everyday motorists of its time.

Introduced as the successor to the Model T, the Model A brought several important improvements, including a standard electric starter and more conventional driving controls. These changes represented a significant step forward for Ford and helped make the Model A easier to operate for a broader range of drivers.
