This absolutely iconic 1961 Jaguar XKE Series I Side Latch Flat Floor Roadster with a louvered bonnet, 2 tops, and matching numbers is the 4th from the last Series I Roadster to feature external bonnet locks. It was restored by the famed and thorough Jaguar restoration specialist, the late Reggie Ray, who is known for his Concours winning work. Today it stands in its original (special order for 1961) and stunning color combination of creme with a red interior. It comes properly equipped with covered headlights, triple SU carburetors, aluminum dashboard with toggle switches and whitewall tires with wire wheels. This is an extremely rare and highly sought after example which would make an excellent addition to any classic car collection. The car is also mechanically sound.
