This particular Mustang has undergone extensive refurbishment to ensure it remains in optimal condition. A multi-year cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment was carried out by Glazier's Mustang Barn of Soundertown, Pennsylvania, from 1993 to 1996. This included bodywork, replacement fenders, and a repaint in the original Ivy Green Metallic.

Further refurbishment was performed by JD's Auto Restoration Center of Glenside, Pennsylvania, in 2022. This involved rebuilding the four-barrel carburetor and cylinder heads, replacing the clutch assembly, and installing a new dual exhaust system. The flywheel was machined, and a tune-up was performed in 2023 at Vintage Modern Performance of Charleston, South Carolina. Additionally, the blower motor was replaced in May 2023.

The 289ci V8 engine, equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, was originally rebuilt in 1996. The front disc and rear drum brakes were also refurbished in 2022, providing reliable stopping power.

What truly sets this American classic apart is its extensive service history. This vehicle comes with service receipt copies totaling an impressive $116,929.02, documenting the meticulous care and investment it has received from October 1995 through October 2024. This comprehensive service history not only highlights the dedication to maintaining the vehicle's condition but also adds significant value and peace of mind for the discerning collector.

This Ford Mustang GT is not just a car; it's a piece of automotive history. Its combination of classic styling, powerful performance, and optimal restoration makes it a truly special vehicle. Whether you're a collector or simply an enthusiast of classic American muscle cars, this Mustang is sure to impress. Do not miss the opportunity to own a piece of the Mustang legacy that is mechanically sound.
