This 280SL has been converted to have a Ford V8 engine, and automatic transmission with a Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. Additional equipment includes a body-color hard top, convertible soft top, single exhaust outlet, VDO instruments, chrome bumpers/trim, Euro headlamps, fender-mounted antenna, body-color dashboard, spot welds, and chrome wheels with Goodyear white line tires. Amenities include manual-crank windows, sun visors, low-back bucket seats, analog clock, Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, glove compartment, sun visors, and a passenger-side door pocket.
