Now offered is this 1977 Excalibur Series III Phaeton, finished in Classic Cream over a tan interior. Produced during Excalibur’s Series III era, this Phaeton is one of just 222 examples built for the 1977 model year. Excalibur was known for combining traditional pre-war-inspired styling with modern American drivetrain components, and this example reflects that approach with its Chevrolet 454 cu. in. V8, automatic transmission, and distinctive neo-classic body design.

Its exterior features pronounced front fenders with hood exhaust vents, a convertible soft top with side curtains, 15-inch steel wheels with wire wheel covers, thin whitewall tires, and the signature dual side-mounted spare tires that contribute to its distinctive appearance.
The interior continues the period styling with front bucket seats, rear bench seating, a Frigiking air conditioning unit, in-dash AM/FM cassette stereo, rocker-style switches, and integrated map/door storage pockets. A chrome fold-down rear luggage rack is mounted behind the rear tub, adding to the car's traditional touring-car-inspired design.
The Excalibur Series III Phaeton was part of a limited-production line that used American V8 power and running gear beneath coachbuilt-style bodies inspired by classic European automobiles. This example has recently come out of long-term storage spanning several decades and is currently not running, providing an opportunity to recommission a distinctive piece of Excalibur history.
