Power comes from a turbocharged 1,397cc inline-four equipped with a Garrett turbocharger and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Four-wheel disc brakes provide stopping power, while the factory wide-body configuration gives the Turbo 2 its signature appearance, including boxed rear fender flares and functional side intake vents ahead of the rear wheels.
Additional exterior features include Turbo 2 graphics, yellow-lens fog lights, Cibie headlamps, a black roof-mounted rear spoiler, whip antenna, Michelin tires, and factory double-staggered metric alloy wheels with polished lips and dark metallic mesh-style centers.
Inside, the leather-wrapped Iso-Delta steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, 8,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The center stack houses dedicated oil-pressure and boost-pressure gauges, putting the car's turbocharged character right in front of the driver. Beige bucket seats are complemented by matching door panels and carpeting, while manual roll-up windows, pop-out rear quarter windows, and Jaeger instrumentation retain the straightforward character of this homologation-inspired performance car.
