Buying a 1958 Mercedes Benz 300SC Roadster

1958 Mercedes Benz 300SC RoadsterAre you thinking about buying a 1958 Mercedes Benz 300SC Roadster, or perhaps the Coupe or Cabriolet version? Have you dreamed for this day to come and are finally ready to see one of the most coveted Mercedes classics take its place in your garage? The Beverly Hills Car Club, a renowned California classic car dealership based in Los Angeles, is happy to provide you with the following information to make your classic car buying experience one that will be unforgettable. Designed with you in mind, you’ll find a wealth of resources throughout this website – including Mercedes 300SC Roadster Buyer’s Tips, the ability to tour online inventory, and more!

First launched in 1955, the Mercedes Benz 300SC was the successor to the also luxurious 300S. Designed with unparalleled craftsmanship and only the finest materials, the 300SC would become a classic from the second it rolled off the production floor. Extremely rare and limited today, only 200 models were ever produced and only 49 would be the coveted Roadster body style. The Roadster body style was different from the Cabriolet in that it lacked landau bars and offered a top that, when fully retracted, disappeared from view. Glamorous in every sense of the word, it is easy to understand why this car had so much appeal during its day, and why that appeal continues today.

1958 Mercedes Benz 300SC Roadster Buyer’s Tips

One of the most important considerations to make when buying a 1958 Mercedes Benz 300SC Roadster is the cost of restoration. Limited original parts, virtually no reproduction parts, and the ornate chrome trimmings make this one of the most expensive classics to restore. While it is always in your best interest to purchase a 300SC that is as complete as possible, it is sometimes best to find a restored model, as the cost of restoration can exceed the asking price of many of these classics. To learn more about the 1958 Mercedes Benz 300SC Roadster or to inquire about models currently in The Beverly Hills Car Club’s inventory, please do not hesitate to touch base with their California classic car dealership today.
