Selling or Buying a 1964 Maserati 3500?

1964 Maserati 35001964 was the last year of production for the gorgeous Maserati 3500. Designed by Touring for the 2+2 coupe and by Vignale for the convertible, this model was the third road car produced by Maserati and the first high volume production car. Its understated elegance made it particularly popular among true enthusiasts who enjoyed the performance without the showiness. The 1964 Maserati 3500 was powered by a detuned version of the 6-cylinder units used on the racing models. The all-aluminum twin cam fabrication had hemispherical combustion and twin spark plugs, and drove through a five-speed ZF gearbox. Lucas fuel-injection system replaced the Weber carburetors used on the first models, which gave the later cars an additional 15 hp and a smooth driving experience.
