Between 1968 and 1972, the second generation of Lamborghini Miura was offered. Known as the P400 S model, the 1969 Lamborghini Miura featured a 4-liter V12 engine with a power output of 370 hp, a top speed of 177 mph and a 0-to-60 mph acceleration in 5.6 seconds. This was quite impressive considering the Formula One winning car was a 205-hp Lotus when the Miura came out. Only 140 units of this variant were made. The design of the Miura was very well received when it was introduced at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show and made the model an icon among sports cars of the era. 1969 Lamborghini Miuras featured bright chrome trim around exterior windows and headlights, new overhead inline console, power windows and air conditioning.
