The Corniche model closely resembled the body style of the Bentley Mark V first produced in the 1930s. These gorgeous vehicles featured coachwork by the Carrosserie Vanvooren design firm in Paris so everything inside the cab was of superior quality. The two body styles that buyers coveted most were the drophead convertible two-door or the fixed head hardtop coupe two-door. Both were very popular in the age. Also in the 1977 model year, this vehicle was equipped with a Bosch KE/K-Jetronic fuel injection system to augment the quality of the vehicle. The engine was a powerful 6.75-liter V8 with fully supported suspension using coil springs and also equipped with disc brakes on all wheels, which were ventilated to help them cool faster. Other notable features of this vehicle included powerful air conditioning, electric windows, spacious interior dcor, and adjustable seats to suit any driver’s preference.
