The 1977 Bentley T2 was the first model year produced by Bentley Motors Limited. It brought a fresh change to the previous Bentley T1. The 1977 Bentley T2 had a smooth outer body style and it still had a unibody design making it sleek as well. The car housed a 6.23- liter eight-cylinder engine and came standard with a four-speed automatic transmission. This car had a slightly lower bonnet then vehicles previously and had a rounded radiator shell. You could either purchase this car on the standard wheelbase or on the long wheelbase. Another variation you could choose as the buyer was the hardtop saloon or the luxury convertible model. If you got the two-door fixed head coupe version, the coachwork was done by James Young and Mulliner Park Ward – making it the ultimate in chic. Mulliner Park Ward solely did the convertible’s coachwork. Features included powerful air conditioning, rack and pinion steering, and a new bumper design where they were rubber-faced.
