The Speed model would average 90 mph and the Super Sports could exceed 100 mph. Linked to a four-speed gearbox, the Bentley 3 Litre was smooth and with its comfortable and luxurious interior, it was a good vehicle for long-distance trips. The model was built from 1921 to 1929 and was delivered to coachbuilders of choice upon request. Bentley referred its customers to Vanden Plas and most of the bodies were in the tourer style.
