Selling or Buying a 1939 SS Jaguar 100?

1939 SS Jaguar 100The SS Jaguar 100 was introduced in 1936 and produced until 1940. Until 1945, the company’s name was SS Cars Ltd., and then changed to Jaguar to avoid an association with the Nazis. A 3.5-liter engine with overhead valve and a power output of 125 hp powered this two-seat roadster. The unit was linked to a four-speed gearbox with synchromesh on the top 3 ratios. The car was equipped with Girling brakes and all-around suspension with half-elliptical springs. The 100 designation in the car’s name referred to the 100 mph top speed break, which was quite unique in the 1930s. 60 mph were reached from still in about 10 seconds. The model weighted about 2600 pounds.
