The 1993 Ferrari Testarossa was powered by a 428 hp 4.9-L Colombo F-12 engine instead of the 390 hp engine fitted on the earlier versions. As a result, the top speed had increased to 195 mph in comparison with the 185 mph of the previous model, as well as the 0 to 60 mph acceleration, which increased from 5.2 seconds to only 4.9 seconds with the upgraded version. Revisions to the interior included splitting of the center control from the dashboard and relocating the center controls.
