Inside, the cabin was roomy and air conditioning came standard making the model quite comfortable. The front-mounted quad-cam V12 allowed for a top speed of approximately 155 mph for the first models, before an S model was introduced in 1969 providing 20 additional horsepower and minor trim changes. The Lamborghini Jamara succeeded to the Islero and was another compact 2+2 model.
