A verified 1986 car is a genuinely rare object; a documented 1987 Aerocoupe is the more attainable but still collectible version of the same idea.

It was the peak production year for the SS, the only volume year for the Aerocoupe, and by then the platform was fully sorted — the 200-4R drivetrain, the mature option mix, the broadest color palette of the run.
