Buying a 1960 Jaguar XK150

1960 Jaguar XK150By 1957, the design of the popular Jaguar XK series, which started in 1948 with the XK120, was looking a little dated according to industry professionals at the time. Although it retained the cut down MK V chassis, the Jaguar XK150 was updated visually with a one-piece, curved windshield, and on the Fixed Head Coupe a larger rear window. This wrap-around style window was in at the time and was paired with a more straightened curvature, which resulted in a heavier look. The 1957 launch released only the Fixed Head Coupe and the Drop Head Coupe, as the introduction of the Roadster was delayed until 1958 when it was introduced alongside the S models. If you’re interested in purchasing a 1960 Jaguar XK150, you’ll be able to choose from all body styles as well as the 3.8-litre engine. In total, 9,395 models were produced throughout its production run.
