The Lamborghini Jarama was launched in 1970 to add a third model to the brand’s range. Based on the shorten Espada chassis, the Jarama was a 2+2 GT designed by Marcello Gandini. The long hood hosted the 4-liter V12 with six Weber carburetors and a power output of 350 hp. When the model came out, the motoring press and enthusiasts weren’t excited by the Jarama because the style of design wasn’t in the trend of fashion and the specifications weren’t as impressive as concurrent sports cars. Lamborghini reacted by offering a revised variant: the Jarama S. Lighter and more powerfulhorsepower boosted up to 365, the performance of the model were significantly improved. Design-wise, the new model is recognizable by its new bumpers and double vents in the hood. Inside the dashboard is also revised for more ergonomics, and thinner seats give more room for rear passengers.
