The Bentley S3 model followed the Bentley S2 model. Bentley Motors Limited produced the Bentley S3 for a short period between 1962 and 1965. The Bentley S3 was the third-generation in the S series and promised to be distinctive; however, the new S3 model was strikingly similar to the previous S2 model. The S3 was debuted in the fall of 1962 at the Paris Motor Show. The most apparent difference from the S2 to the S3 was the new headlamp layout. This included twin paired headlamps with increased wattage of 150 to increase the driver’s visibility by a few hundred yards. The radiator was also lowered an inch and a half and the manufacturer restyled the vehicle’s front mudguards. Also, the engine boasted a higher compression ratio of 9:1 over the previous S2’s 8:1 ratio. This increased the vehicle’s horsepower by about seven percent.
