The BMW 2000CS is nothing short of a dream machine. Featuring a twin-carburetor two-liter four-cylinder, this metal pocket of joy could output 120 horsepower at 5500 revolutions per minute! Sporty, fast, and unabashedly stylish, this aggressive-looking coupe rolled off the assembly line exactly 9,999 times over its four years of production (1965-1969), and there had to be two variants because America couldnt handle rectangular headlights yet. Instead, we here in North America got four small, round headlights in place of the strange new rectangular ones, but that certainly wasnt the weirdest thing about the front of this car. While the body was based mainly on the body of the 3200 CS, as well as the other New Class cars, the style of the front was notably different in that there was mostly nothing on it aside from a tiny BMW double-kidney grill, and the headlights that have already caused such an issue.
