An Icon of Ferrari’s Grand Touring Expression

Built from 1953 to 1964, the Ferrari 250 is an iconic sports car and Ferrari’s most popular early line. The Ferrari 250 series included numerous variants from the Ferrari 250 Monza introduced in 1953 to the Ferrari 250 Le Mans model. Two different wheelbases were used on the Ferrari 250 models, a short 94.5-in wheelbase (SWB) and a longer 102.4-in wheelbase (LWB). Road models were fitted with a 3-Liter Colombo Tipo 125 V12 engine. This unit was appreciated for its light weight and impressive performance. The engine of the Ferrari 250 weighed hundreds of pounds less than its main competitors, such as the Jaguar XK straight-6. With an output of 296 hp for the later Ferrari 250 GTO and Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa models, the Ferrari 250 was among the most powerful and enjoyable sports car of its era. The Ferrari 250 was especially popular in its racing use. The Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa won multiple times at Le Mans, Sebring and Buenos Aires. The Ferrari 250 P was the prototype racing car launched in 1963 and won the 12 hours of Sebring, the 24 hours of Le Mans and the 1000 km Nrburgring.

“Alex, I found you to be straightforward, but also an interesting and friendly person to talk to. The funds were in my account the next day as promised. And, that was before you had even picked up my car. Your tow driver was extremely courteous, and a very likeable person. Keep doing what you’re doing. Your company has a great work ethic, with no “curve balls”!”

“From the first contact until the final deal was done, Alex was top-notch all the way! The transaction couldn’t have been smoother, communication was excellent, and Alex and his staff was extremely accommodating. Yes, I could have sold my car for a little more money through a private Party sale, but if you put a dollar amount on the aggravation, hassle, and time it takes to sell a car, then I feel my deal with Alex was worth it, 100%. If you’re selling a classic car you owe it to yourself to get in touch with Alex. Thanks again, guys!”
